This control board has been designed for incorporation into typical industrial electronics applications like controlling motors or adjustment of static up- or down-converters.The objectives were to obtain a board with a large number of pulsewidth modulation (PWM) generators, which enables us to control several motors and static converters at the same time. The cost of the control board needed to be as low as possible too. In addition, it must be possible to construct the board using a soldering iron, without requiring use of a reflow oven.
